Several of us decided
to take up Gilbert's invitation to visit Myanmar last
year. It was a wonderful experience, made more so by the
warm and generous hospitality extended by Gilbert's good
wife Marla.
The journey took us to the old capital Yangon; Pagan the
city of temples and pagodas; well-known Mandalay; and
serene Lake Inle.
